I have a not so novel idea…Commissioners, stop spending outside your means. Just stop.
What is so difficult with that decision? Yes, your city constituents will scream, shout, and protest, because they elected you expecting a lot of handouts, but take a look at where and why folks keep moving north and east to get away from you.
I, after all these years, am weary of you, and your recycled cronies.
Just go away.

I absolutely LOVE my local airport, I love our Delta and American staff, but someone please explain to me why I can drive to ECP (Panama City) and to JAX (Jacksonville) to get flights to most anywhere at lower fares. I think the addition of Breeze Airlines will help. I recently drove to ECP and Breeze saved me over $200 to fly west…nonstop, and I avoided Dallas (DFW). Anytime you can avoid DFW, please take that option.

Several Teacher’s contracts were not renewed in Leon County for next year. Someone needs to look at why we are letting teachers go if we are having a shortage.

Breeze is set to start in July. I just looked and they have flights from TLH to Ft. Lauderdale for $94 each way on their roomier seat. Some flights are less than $50!
